Rabbit Vaccination

Requirements

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

To be accepted for boarding,

all rabbits must have a current

 Nobivac Myxo-RHD Plus  vaccination,

which protects against :

  • Myxomatosis
  • RHDV1
  • RHDV2

Rabbits require a booster vaccination every

12 months to maintain continuous protection.

Vaccination Advice 2026

Due to concerns regarding more recent

highly virulent RHDV2 variants,

we recommend that rabbit owners discuss

the new Yurvac RHD vaccine with their vet.

Yurvac RHD provides additional protection

against these more recent variants and,

if recommended by your vet,

can be given alongside the current

Nobivac Myxo-RHD Plus

vaccination programme.

The two vaccines should be

administered at least 2 weeks apart.

Please remember...

If your rabbit is being vaccinated

for the first time, or

if their vaccination has lapsed, immunity

can take up to 3 weeks to develop.

In these cases, boarding cannot take place until 3 weeks after vaccination.

If you have any questions, please get in touch.
